*The majority of our adult dance students in these series have had very little or no dance experience, but find they are able to follow along and even contribute to the creative process. Returning dancers report feeling a sense of "coming home" to lost sensations in their bodies. Advanced dancers might instead try my colleague Tanya's Wednesday night (very) Advanced Contemporary class. Full HDC schedule.

Who Are My Students?

The majority of my adult students had very little to no previous dance experience before joining, but find they are able to follow along and even contribute to the creative process. Returning dancers report feeling a sense of "coming home" to lost sensations in their bodies. Lifelong movers can deepen their practice by integrating detailed kinesiology-based cues from my extensive Pilates background to strengthen their technique. The follow-along format keeps the classes moving, even with beginners in the room, and by setting material that repeats many times before gradually integrating new combinations, consistent attendance will increase confidence with tangible improvement in skills.

Most importantly, dancing with friends to music is SUPER FUN.

Have an injury holding you back or just want a one-on-one jump start? Try a DISCOUNTED ($25 off) PRIVATE SESSION for new adult dance students and I'll get you going, step by step.
